Four Ladies, A guy and A purple Chariot (Yet Another Long Post)

Today, woke up early to prepare myself for Good Friday worship service. Talked to glo to check if she got everything ready for her flight. Since she's in taiwan now, all things went smoothly for her. From her words, my PSP was useful to help entertain her on her flight there.

Went to church for Good Friday service and not many were around at the start. Most started streaming in after 915am. By the time of the message, the worship hall was packed. Rev Dr Tang gave us the Lord's word. Telling us that Christ is our passover lamb and using the first passover. He described the shadow and type of Christ in that Passover. Allowing us to understand the significance of the Passover as well as what Christ has gone through for us. After the service, went with Mrs Tang, Susy and Mary to east coast park to witness the baptism of 10 brothers and sisters. ZH, Kezia, Ioannes, Ethan and YY were the 5 youths that have undergone baptism this year.

Once the baptism was over, the clouds broke and rain fell. The cloud got darker as i was driving to east coast and looked ominous during the baptism. But thank God that it did not rain until the baptism was over. Since it rained, a group of youths gathered together and walked back to the carpark. It was Ms Chan and Ms Y sharing an umbrella (then it was each with their own), Charis and Mary with an umbrella, Dorc with another and Susy and I sharing one. So we walked back to the car. As it was pouring, our feet started getting soaked and as the wind blew, even our bodies got wet. Basically, our legs were wet since the umbrella cannot cover the feet and body 100%. Since i was sheltering Susy, i got my shoulder and shirt wet as well.

By the time we all got to the carpark, we were soaking wet. So while we walked over to my car, i noticed the drainage system wasn't working well since the ground had a huge puddle of water. So we continued to walking over to my car and then IT happened. It was sad and it happened to me. While walking to the car, i walked over a drain which i could not see since the water covered it entirely. And then i took a step towards my car and BOOM!, my foot stepped on water and then more water (meaning i stepped into the drain which was covered by the HUGE puddle of water) and i almost tripped and fell on my face... But thankfully, only my pride was hurt with my clothes wet. So with Ms Y, Ms Chan, Susy and Dorc in the car, we drove off wet to parkway parade to eat lunch.

I made a wrong turn in the rain and had to go a big round before we got to parkway parade. The parking was quite bad since we had to go pretty high up P6 to park and circle round a few times (at least 20mins spent trying to park) before God gave us a lot. So we walked into parkway to get our lunch and we decided on pastamania. Where we got seats and ordered our food. We had a quick lunch before we made our way back to the car. Food ordered by us were Salad, Pasta, Pizza, Soup and Garlic Bread. We ate it and filled in the survey form before we left for the car.

I then proceeded to send Susy home first as she got to do her many holiday homework assignments. Then drove Ms Chan to her friend's place to do her FYP (wanted to send Ms Y back first but didn't really know how to get on to the ECP so sent Ms Chan first) and dropped Dorc off at Ang Mo Kio MRT since she requested it. Finally, i drove Ms Y back before making my way home. It was actually a pretty fast ride back under 20 mins from her place. Managed to get home at 5pm and cleaned my car up. So now blogging this extremely long post. Shall blog about my laptop cleaning a week or so back later as i have the pictures taken of my laptop keyboard cleaning.
