Updates

As many know, i've not updated my blog for a while. So shall just update quickly what has happened. Friday was an interesting day. Many dangers were lurking all around. I drove to church and then took a bus to work. Nothing much happened at work (Note: Nothing interesting other than i got suaned) and during lunch saw lucas at the same place. Then i left for church to drive my car. On the bus, i actually zoned out (read: fell asleep) a number of times and almost missed my stop. I opened my eyes and realised that i was already at the church bus stop. That was a fright. So i decided to drive home and kept my EYES wide open to ensure that i will not sleep and end up in an accident. At home, ate my dinner and decided to get some shut-eye (Read: Nap) for 15mins. So i lied down at 645pm and expected to get up at 7pm. Next thing i knew it was 730pm. Then had to rush to life bp for choir practise. Thank God for the blessed time of choir practise. After choir dropped rach and mary at JSM before dropping glo on my way home.

Saturday was a normal day, went out after lunch to northpoint. Decided to invest some money in a tennis ball pick up (read: a thing to store tennis balls in while out on court). Costs me 40bucks for it, think it should be a good investment. Shall make it easier to "train" with those i play with. Also invested in a jacket (sports jacket) cos it was cheap (in comparison with the others). So it was a good buy to me and would be useful and practical. Later, decided to go for the men's fellowship on choice of career and life partner. Did not want to go a week back but the Lord has laid it upon my heart to go. Since i was free and had nothing to do. Thank God that i went and the Lord gave us a blessed time of fellowship. After that, i just returned home and rested. Though a "highlight" (rather a LOW light) was the GETAI that happened to be outside my home's 7-Eleven. They BLASTED the music and my ears were ringing after that. Apparantly they believe in LOUD LOUD LOUD music. Oh well, at least i got the ringing out of my ears after 1hour or so.

Today was a normal Lord's day. Attended 2nd service only after 1 month plus. Did not wake up and attend the first service today like the other sundays before. Went straight to FSC after picking up glo (she requested it since she said she was carrying a lot of things). After the talk by Paul Ferguson on alcoholic beverages, which made it clear that Christians cannot and should never drink alcoholic beverages. We went back to church for the 2nd service. Thank God for the message preached by Paul Ferguson (his swansong Lord's day message before he leaves for Foundations). It was very appropriate and truly, our Lord Jesus Christ is our conqueroring saviour. Amen to that. After service, we went tracting before returning home.

In the afternoon and evening, i was caught between the rock and the hard place. And me (the egg) with nowhere to go. However, thank the Lord that i was able by His wisdom to make the appropriate decision for wednesday. I guess that the Lord has placed more trials in my life to go through. For i had to go through yet another decision as a result. But i pray that the Lord will allow me to maintain the fellowship but just be careful over how i treat others. Wrong impressions may result and it would be a hinderance in my service for God. May God keep me and guide me, for i cannot do this by my own strength. I need my Lord for i'm helpless in this matter.

I also had an opportunity to speak with rach regarding our service to God. We pray that God would give us an opportunity to serve Him in the sunday school. For we see and have a burning desire for the souls of the sunday school youths. God please guide us through and through. Amen.
