Time for an update. Wonder if the signing off name has been changed already or not.

Prayer meeting:
Today i attended the Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting at JSM. I spent the day trying to get the youths to attend the prayer meeting. So i was smsing away at my appreciation of western classical music class. But out of all whom i smsed, not many indicated that they'll go initially. Think only Ira and Mary Tang said they'll go. Then Alvin asked whether having sore throat can still go pray. So i replied can, unless got flu then better not go. Charis, claudia, Sheryl din reply me. Clementia said she would go to the west-side prayer meeting on sat. Gloria went to meet her friends for dinner(a prior arrangement). Joshua Zhang went for driving. Judith and Hannah replied that they weren't sure if they'll go. Phebe had a class gathering so she couldn't go as well. Samantha din want to go cos she said she was uncomfortable praying in a group.

So at the end of the day, the youths who turned up were Ira, Alvin, Ethan (asked him yesterday), Samuel (din contact him), Charis Tang (Din reply me cos she was in a rush), Mary Tang, Susanna Tang (no handphone), Hannah (Decided to come with her parents). Really glad that quite a number of them decided to turn up to pray. It really good cause as Pastor has said, prayer is an indicator of Spirituality. Prayer helps the Church to grow because if there are no people praying, the church is dead. After today's prayer meeting, I feel that I want to continue to attend the Wednesday night prayer meeting even after my holidays. Alvin also wants to continue to attend the prayer meeting on a more permanent basis. Will see if i can get Ira to join us.

After the prayer meeting, Pastor came up to us and asked us to join him on friday for the OVERNIGHT prayer meeting. Pray from 10pm to 2am. Was really shocked when he asked me, ethan, ira and samuel to go for it. But I think I'll try going for it on friday. See if i can last. Ira will be joining me to see who can last longer : ) So guess this friday night, i'll be at JSM for choir from 730pm and be there till sat 2am. Unless i cannot take it, give up halfway and return home.

Badminton:
Tomorrow is the badminton session I'm organising for the youths. Booked 2 courts at Yishun Sports Hall from 12noon to 2pm. Hope that everyone who goes has a fun time. I hope this will build a bond between the youths. We as Christians must be closer to our brothers and sisters in Christ much more than we are to our outside friends. God is the constant in our lives that we have in common together. Other things we have in common will change over time. But if our friendship is built on God, then the friendship will be anchored on Firm ground.
