Tennis Racquet
Today went to Sembawang Shopping Centre (SSC) to change the strings and grip of my tennis racquet. Decided to get some hybrid strings so that i can do more "top" spin on the ball. After looking at the strings available, decided on Prince Strings - Tour Blend and to increase the grip of my racquet by buying a replacement grip (Wilson microdry Comfort). Cost of those are 27 and 10.90 respectively. Decided to string at 53 lbs tension. So it should provide more control when i play. Then again, the control problem could be me not the racquet and strings. But since the racquet could be a possible cause of me not performing on the court. I can control the risks of me screwing up by ensuring that my racquet is strung properly and getting proper grip. Meaning that i can narrow down the causes of me playing like crap. And control and monitor the main factor of poor performance - Myself.

After leaving my racquet there to string, went to Giant to buy drinks for the coming BBQ. Brought 5 bottles of Pokka Tea (mix) and other things i like to eat as snacks. Should enable me to get better food (black pepper instant noodles) when my maid doesn't have time to get me a proper meal. Went to watson's and got the glacial mud spa from LUX. Hopefully, i would be "cooler" after my shower and can concentrate better.

After buying the items, went back to the tennis stringer and realised my racquet wasn't ready yet. So just hung around looking at more strings, badminton racquets and other stuff in the shop. Had an interesting chat with the stringer and got a discount on the strings and the grip. Paid a total of 31bucks. Strings cost me 23 dollars and grip 8 bucks. Quite cheap and service is good. Half an hour to get your racquet strung. Anyway i think SSC is a good place to study. Since, not many people go there, parking from 12-5pm on weekdays is free, cheap food located at Giant and its near my place. But then, i doubt i will go there to study cos at home, all things are mostly free and i can rest and concentrate better at home. Off to study.
