Convocation and Bible study

As in my earlier post, i initially wanted to play tennis. However, God had a better idea for me and i was unable to play as it was raining. So i decided to take the time i had to prepare my Bible study notes for the session i had this evening. Had some time to prepare and it was good that i did. Took yet another nap in the morning to ensure i was 100% energised for the rest of the day. For i know that it would be a long day.

Went to attend the Convocation ceremony in NTU. Given the odd and weird time, i skipped lunch to go and since i also skipped breakfast, i didn't get to eat until the entire thing was over at 4pm during the refreshments. The Convocation ceremony was really really long..... Since there were like 582 students receiving their "book" this cover for the degree certificate we had already gotten. It started at 145pm and ended at 4pm. It was really super long and by the first 100 names, i was already half asleep...... Cos i'm a Tan so my name was near the back. I was near the LAST 100 names. After the Convo, we had refreshments and took some pictures with my friends. I realised i have a really bad smile...... maybe i shouldn't smile next time.... Oh well..... It was nice to see so many of my classmates, i guess i wun see them again as such a big group. But i'm sure to see them at the Judgment Seat of Christ. I pray that they will come to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and saviour.

After everything, i went home and had to arrange where to meet Andy through Rach. Cos Andy's handphone died again (100% it has gone flat since i've begun meeting him for Bible study). Arranged to meet Andy at my place to give me more time to prepare my Bible study notes. Thank God that He allowed me to complete 3 of the 7 churches by the time Andy came. (i've just finished the 3rd church when Andy came) I did 2 churches the day before and earlier and the 3rd one when i got home. Andy already arrived later than he should, yet it was all in God's perfect timing as He allowed me to finish what I should be covering with Andy.

I printed the notes and then went with Andy to Han's (just outside my house) to eat dinner and have our sharing there. We both had a set meal and the food was so-so, but the fellowship made it very blessed. When i had just started to share, Ms Chan gave me a call and asked where we were having our Bible study. Cos she and longquan met Sharon and Joseph respectively, so they were able to meet up and decided to come together. Thank God that Joseph and Sharon was able to give them a ride over to my place to meet us. So they arrived when i was cover the brief summary of the 7 churches. So they did not miss anything important. Thank God for giving me the liberty to speak His word and to share them. Truly, i thank the Lord for guiding me in preparing the notes and also giving me the understanding to see and draw links to other scripture passages. I thank God also for blessing the time we had together. I actually shared till Han's closed and we had to move to the Prata Place to continue. Thank God for the fellowship and the food he has given to us.

We had a blessed time and i pray that God will continue to give to us more opportunities to meet and fellowship and to share His word. May God continue to undertake for me as i look to Him in preparing His word. All praise and glory be to God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and to the Holy Spirit. May all the events today glorify God.
