Back to work after my leave

Yesterday was my return to work after going on leave. Its been a fun experience to get back to work yesterday. Though i seriously considered whether to return to work in light of my sore thigh. But since i could still walk, i decided to return to work as i was also given a job to do. It wasn't nice to just throw an aeroplane with an MC. I was seconded to HR for a day.

In the morning, i just got briefed by the HR person i'm attached to and found out that i'm to do the J*ans for J*y thing that PwC is having. To distribute the badges for the event. As the morning was not needed, i was given the time to rest and do my own thing. So in the afternoon, we set up the place to distribute the badges and just waited for the badges to arrive. However, by 3pm, we realised the badges were not going to come today. So the entire day was basically a session of sitting around surfing the internet and making the occasional call or just to tell those who came that the badges were not arriving. As a result, i was booked another afternoon (today) to help distribute the badges.

I left promptly at 530pm and made my way back home. After taking my dinner and resting, i met up with glo before making my way down to the airport. A large number of church members were going to send the Fergusons off at the airport. We were there quite early and had to try to "stall" them so that those who were coming could see them off. Otherwise it might be too late when they arrived and the Fergusons had left. Thank God that all who made their way down were able to see the Fergusons off.

After the sending off, Ms Chan was kind enough to give my leg an examination to see if there was any major problem with it. Thank God for her kindness. The thigh seems better today as its more relaxed and can bend more. By God's grace, it has improved and with more rest, i should get better if God be willing.

This morning was pretty rushed as i was stuck in the toilet longer. My stomach wasn't doing too good but thank God that it was much better when i left home. Thank God that i was able to catch my bus this morning. I was out of my house at 7.22 and the bus arrives at 7.25am. Thank God that despite my leg, i was able to make it with time to spare (20secs or so). Got to office and was intending to just relax before i realised that i got OA in the morning. So shall just wait till the secretary calls or emails.
