This has been a super busy week for me.
Monday:
Had lifesaving in the morning at toa payoh pool. Learnt CPR and did towing of victim. Super tiring. Then had to rush to school for my Elective. On my way there, i received an sms from my group member that he wun be able to come for the presentation as he had food poisoning. So i had to tell the lecturer to postpone us till wednesday. Then later in the evening, I had choir practise from 7pm to 10pm. By the time the day was done, I was so tired that I almost dropped off.
Tuesday:
Today was a relatively uneventful day. Except for the 4 hour badminton session, We booked a court from 1-3 at Yio Chu Kang sports hall. We paid 7 then we continued using that court and another one until someone appeared to use the court. So we played from 1 to 5. Amazing right. After that, we changed up and went to AMK KFC to eat dinner. Ordered the 10piece meal to share among the 5 of us. Ribert, Ira, Dorcas, Claudia and myself played on tues. After eating and talking for a while, we decided to go to the hawker centre to eat Earthquake Ice Kacang. But Dorcas was dumped at KFC cos she had to go for prayer meeting. At the hawker centre, we ate the ice kacang then ordered 'chay dou kway' or carrot cake. We ordered like 2 plates to eat followed by 3 packets to da pao home. Can't believe we ate so much......
Wednesday:
Today was supposed to be my presentation. But then, one of my group members decided not to turn up. And he was the clown that had the slides. Becos he din send to me, we couldn't present again. So it was really kinda sad for us...... 2 times supposed to present but cannot. So friday is the last day for me to present. We need to present after the listening test. Later that evening, i went for wednesday night prayer meeting. Ate dinner with Ira and Ethan at 630 before going back to church for singing and then prayer. The turnout for the prayer meeting this wednesday was really good. Though i have only attended the wednesday prayer meeting twice, there were really a lot of people as Mrs Seet said that it was the first time she saw so many people there. Pastor encouraged the youths to come for overnight prayer meeting on friday as well. I will be turning up for that with Ira.
Thursday:
Today went to woodlands to play badminton. Took 3 courts for 2 hours and then extended 2 court for another hour. It was really quite fun to play and 18 people turned up. Here's the list: Paul, Ira, Ribert, Andrew, Samuel, Claudia, Dorcas, Eleanor, Elizabeth, Prisicilla, Chester, Sheryl, Judith, Kezia, Samantha, Xiwen, Gloria and myself. Hannah and Phebe was supposed to come as well. but they were too tired from their concert on wed. After the game, I went to yishun and brought Christmas presents.....
