Updates

Yesterday, i had a good time with God's people. It was good to be able to spend time with God's people and have family worship together. As one body in Christ, we are all brothers and sisters. Its good to gather in the name of Christ and worship together. I pray that we will have more of these regional family worship and gatherings. We need to pray for God's sustaining of the church.

Today, went for 1st and 2nd service. It was a good message by Rev Gerard about the Da Vinci code. It is so needful for us in this present time with the heretical message of the Da Vinci code. It is a clear blasphemy of Jesus Christ. There are NO historical facts that can support the claims in that book. Thank God for using Rev Gerard to arm us in our faith that we can earnestly contend for the Truth.

We had a good time at the group meeting. It was encouraging to see that more come to attend our group Bible study. We shall try to include the newcomers more in our activities and meetings. After service, i went with claud and fiona to Mac for lunch. We took the time to discuss the gospel skit for the 17th of June gospel meeting. Shall ask God to lead us even as we do the script for the skit. May God undertake for us in this matter.

Just to share: was disappointed today that my friend wasn't able to come for service today. Got an sms in the morning to say there was an urgent matter so couldn't come. But it is encouraging that 2 of them will coming on the 11th of June. I ask that God speak to their hearts and work in them. May He use me to invite others to come on that day itself. May God undertake for me and i commit all this in prayer. For we must do all things in constant prayer and supplications.

After the meeting for the gospel skit. I drove home, changed, picked up my sister and drove over to my grandfather's house. Then i dropped her off before going to meet uncle joseph for some exercise. We walked around 2 hours and it was a blessed time. As i was able to talk regarding certain issues and talk about God. Thank you, O Lord, for blessing the time of fellowship that Thou has given to us. Its been an encouragement to me. I also sent some emails out to encourage those whom i know are in need and facing struggles. May God ever be our focus and not man. Uncle Joseph also gave me a namecard holder which i'm very very thankful to him and God for giving it to me. I now really understand the joy of spending time with God's people. You really don't want the time to end. Kinda like when we pray earnestly to God, we can pray for hours on the end and not want the prayer to end. Thank you Lord for working a work of revival in the hearts of your people today.

Some prayer requests i need to take note myself:
1) Pray for rach that God will use her to reach out to her colleagues and to encourage the youths. Pray that myself and many others will be able to encourage her as well.
2) Pray for Andy even as he is a new believer and facing many many struggles. God will change him as i can see the change God has worked in his life.
3) Pray for those youths whom have grown cold. We need to pray for them to return to God and God knows there are so many of them to pray for. Its needful for us to pray for them.
4) Pray for the choir even as we prepare for the wedding and the conferences in June. May God undertake for the choir practises that follow.
5) Pray for revival of God's people here in Singapore. We are seeing the lukewarmness of many of us but Thanks be to God for starting revival in some of the hearts of the youths. Its so needful and necessary for us to be made clean and sanctified for the Master's use.
6) Pray for the coming conferences that God will prepare the speakers and prepare the hearts of the hearers for His word. Please pray that God will provide us a venue for the meetings on the 23 and 24th of June. Lord please provide us the proper place for the meetings.
