Depression

Met up Jonah at YCK after i sent my sister to Toa Payoh Pool. Was asked to send her since she was carrying 3 big bags of clothes for her swim team. Since i was early, i drove to YCK and waited near NYP and read my book. Once Jonah appeared, i drove over the pick him up. He then came over to my place and we just sat around and talked. Then arranged with glo to pick her up to go to church together for the night messages.

The night message was on the life of elijah and we went into the depressed state he suffered in 1Kings 19. The sermon was apt as it addressed many different issues like the symptoms, causes and cures for depression in the Bible. Really opened my eyes to this very familar passage as there was YET more insight into it. Truly the Word of God is alive and has the power to speak and to change lives.

Recently read a book the Kneeling Christian. For those interested, you can find the weblink to the book here. I do prefer to read the book book instead of the web book due to its effect on my eyes.

I would like to thank God for this day and to bring us back safely home. Sent a number of folks back earlier around 5 in total in my PURPLE CHARIOT. haha. Thank God for the fellowship we had after the meeting. Shall visit cheryl tomorrow morning since my time to go is limited to this week only.
