Young Adult Prayer 2

Once again, the young adults organised a prayer meeting at my place. By the grace of God, i was able to host this event once again. We thank God for leading and guiding us in this matter. We pray that God will continue to preserve this prayer meeting. Not for our sakes but for His glory.

I thank God for bringing so many of us to this prayer. Truly its God's honour that many young adults were able to gather together in His holy name. Those who were here and gathered together were - Charis, Cyndi (New), Fiona, Andy (New), Jonah (New), Zhuhui (New), Kezia (New), Glo (New), Mary, Ms Y, Rach, Dragon Fist and myself. God brought additions to our midst while others like John, Paul, Jos Z were unable to make it due to their work/NS/Reservist while some others who were invited could not attend. Thank God for this prayer group.

I was really tired in the morning as a result of reduced sleeping hours. I thank God who gave me sufficient grace and time to prepare His word to share with the young adults. I shared on our attitude in approaching God in our prayers. Its a repeat of what i told Andy but i added a little more. However it was not the full sharing as we wanted to concentrate on prayer. The format for this was similar to 2 weeks earlier. Which was singing, sharing, personal reflection and group prayer. We did not have the congregational prayer because there was a lack of time. Too many of us so we decided not to have it. Thank God for the truly blessed time of prayer where i'm certain we have met God face to face.

After the prayer, some (rach, mary, charis, fiona and kezia) left while the rest went to celebrate John's birthday. Dragon Fist left earlier to go to a wedding. John and paul drove by to pick up folks on the way to Haomin's (ML and PJ's) home. We loaded into the cars and then left for fellowship and dinner. Thank God for the food that caleb and haomin prepared for us. It was really good and we had a blessed time of fellowship. After that, i shared more of God's word with Andy while we had time. After which, we arranged the folks to load up into the different cars and brought them home. Took glo and jonah. Dropped jonah at bishan and glo at her home. After that went home and now here blogging by the grace of God.

Thank God once again for leading us in our prayers and our fellowship with God. May we continue to honour and glorify Him in all that we do here.
