Thankfulness

Decided to go for 1st service on sunday. I was actually pondering and deciding whether to go for 1st service or not. I was pretty tired and would like to have some rest. However, on Friday, i learnt that there would be 2 different messages for 1st and 2nd service. So i was relieved of my decision whether to go or not by that information. Also decided that i had to return the 5 hymnbooks we borrowed from church for the young adult prayer. So by God's leading, i was at 1st service. I'm so thankful that i was there as i was able to hear a much needed message by Rev Seet. He preached on the Lord's prayer and it was an apt reminder as well as new insight into the Lord's prayer. Thank God for the message preached.

After 1st service, took a ride from Joseph to FSC. I'm so thankful for Ioannes who had given up his seat for me. He decided to walk to FSC and allowed me to sit in the car and take the ride down. Thank God for his kindness. We had a message by Joseph on the believers priesthood and it was very appropriate for us to know and to remember that we are called to be God's priests that are consecrated for Him alone.

Took a ride back with Andy to JSM and after he parked, we were walking back when alvin drove past and gave us a lift to the front gate. Andy parked a distance away. Attended 2nd service and had a message by pastor on suffering believers and i'm thankful for that message. Truly, it brings to light that all suffering for Christ is worthwhile. Truly it was a great blessing to my soul to hear that message and i trust it was an encouragement to many hearts as well.

After 2nd service, went for lunch before returning back to church for tracting. Thank God for the blessed time of tracting. I pray that God will do the work in the hearts of those whom we gave tracts to. May He touch their hearts to come and hear His word and be saved. After tracting, went to my grandfather's place directly to spend some time. Also to make up for last week when i was unable to go and see him. Drove home and rested a while before going to andy's place.

Reached Andy's place at 820pm and had a time of Bible study with him. Cyndi came over to join us and we went through the remaining 2 churches in Revelations 3. Thank God for the blessed time we had to go through His word and to understand Him more. May our love for Christ continue to abound each and every day of our lives.

Another blessing that i have to be thankful for is the working hours i'm on. Thank God that my client's place only allows us to work till 6pm and we must leave by then. Thank God for that as i would be able to join in the wednesday prayer meeting and also the times of fellowship with my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Thank God for His undertaking in my place of work.
