24th Birthday!

As promised, this post is about my 24th birthday. Interesting that i blog about my 24th birthday on the 24th of october. Doubt that i'll blog about my 25th birthday on the 25th of Oct.

First up,
THANK YOU!!!I would like to thank all who sent their birthday wishes. A big thank you to Jonah, Ms Chan, glo, Sarah, Hong En, Xinshi, Suzy, Rachel, Kezia, Hannah, Peijuan, Maverick, Longquan, Albert, Alvin, Benjamin, Zhuhui, Isaac, Kool, Joseph and many others as well. Special mention to Prissie and Jaslyn of my office who wished me happy birthday. Can't really remember if there were others. Those who gave me presents, thanks so much as well.

Events on my birthday. Woke up later than usual because i decided to turn my handphone off and in turn my alarm. Managed to get a sort of good sleep. Better than usual but not the very deep sleep kind. Basically due to my difficulties sleeping. Anyway shall no longer try to "help" myself sleep. But just let it take its normal course. Did my morning devotions and then rested a while before driving to sembawang shopping center to restring my tennis racquets. Was about time to restring them already since its been almost a year since i last strung them. Parking was also free on weekdays so its quite worth it to go down. Paid 40 to string 2 racquets with hybrid strings. Though i'm still not used to the tension as evidenced in the game later in the day.

After restringing my racquets, returned home to rest a while before going to SAFRA TP to play tennis. But "pumped" some petrol on my way down. Got there and waited for a while before the rest appeared. It was playing tennis that i realised 1) i got rusty, 2) i'm not used to the new strings. So would need to play more games to get used to the racquet. After tennis, we showered and went around before going to Bugis' BB or as Mr Kong calls it "Billy Bonker". We had a blessed time over dinner and had great fellowship. Thanks to the brothers who got me a watch. Something i would need to use with my office attire. Though..... I'll remember the strange concoction i sipped...... My stomach is STILL suffering from that evil thing. But it was a blessed time of fellowship.

Shall post some pictures about my birthday when i've got the time. Like the food we all ate and the group photo when i get it from Zhuhui.
