Blackout, Dinner and Supper

Yesterday
Interesting things happened to me yesterday. Morning was relatively fine as i was seconded to business development. Basically did internet research to find MNCs. Lunch was at a place that was pretty close to PwC. Somewhere opposite, we ate inside the place where they had a "hidden" location with airconditioning. Just after we finished our meal, it started to rain really heavily and all of a sudden, the lights went out. The power tripped there was a blackout. So it was really interesting to have such an experience over lunch. Thank God there was no panic. We waited in the dark till the rain became lighter. (I've no idea why the power did not come back on too) And walked back to PwC.

Went to meet a friend for dinner after work. Went to buy a present for my sister at Funan. A nice green mouse since she loves the colour green. Also got some stuff before we went for dinner. Walked to Raffles city and decided to take dinner at season reasons. The food was really nice (fusion cuisine) and i especially loved the drink. Shall post pictures up. *argh.... i've lots of pictures i'm supposed to post up. Shall do it when i have the time* After dinner, we went to look at watches before i settled on a nice watch. I've a black stainless steel watch so i got a white/silver stainless steel watch now. Thanks for the watches my friends.

On the MRT home, i got an sms from Eric about supper. So i decided to think about it to see if i should go down. In the end, i decided to go down for supper @ chomp chomp. But i spent most of my time on the line cos i had a few matters to settle first. Didn't really eat as well cos i was full from dinner. Had a nice time with my colleagues who came - ChingSie, Prissie, SuanKit, Kelvin, Eric, Aaron and Zhikai. After supper, we went back home. While i was home, i learned about something that really made me quite sad and unhappy. Cos i tot i was really bad to Kangling on sunday when i called her. Tot i woke her up with my call. After clarification today, i didn't. So its okay. But i didn't sleep well last night because of that. Really wanted to apologise straight away but it was too late to call also.

Today
Stayed on the 14th floor doing work today. Didn't want to go up cos i was too lazy to do so. Basically nothing much happened today. Just a kick-off meeting for my job next week. It was quite interesting to see SPA people involved with the audit. My first audit that i see SPA with an active role. It was also fun to see all the different managers and partners talking about raising audit fees. Hahaha. But i was the lowest ranked soul at the meeting. Super weird there. After the meeting, left at 610pm for home.

Also spent some time on MSN having a few heart-to-heart talks with various folks.
