I used to have Dreams of sadness and dreams of darkness. But Jesus Christ has come to give me light. Now my dreams are life and of life eternal with Him in glory.

Night Tennis @ Safra Yishun

Played night tennis with mr kool and PJ yesterday. We played from 950pm to 11pm. The reason we could start earlier was that the group before us cancelled their session due to the rain. The weather was extremely cooling due to the drizzle earlier on. The court was kinda moist and the balls soaked up the water as we played. It was a fun session to play and i ended up running a lot to return balls. 1 hr of tennis is good exercise since i hardly exercise at home. Only the tennis and games session actually keep me fit. Thank God for the good weather as well as the exercise.

Was also invited to go to castle green by my friends to play street soccer yesterday evening. Due to the fact that i had night tennis already scheduled and was feeling tired. I decided to just decline the invitation and not go. Think if i did go, i'll be too dead to play tennis and even too dead to turn up for work. As such i'm already feeling tired now due to reduced sleep and a tired body.

Tennis sessions in the coming days.
1) Saturday morning tennis at either NIE or SP courts - Unconfirmed
2) Hari raya tennis at Yishun - Court confirmed at 10-12noon

Think teachers and students are more and more busy each year. Heard from MS Y that she had to camp in school for XX orientation camp, PJ also informed me that Canberra Sec also has orientation camp and my guess is many secondary schools have orientation camps. Teachers seem to take on more workload as evident from the expressions of the teachers in choir/JSM. Teachers dun really have things easy now. They are unappreciated by students and parents, overworked and spend lots of time in school.

Just a thought.... Do primary schools have orientation camps as well? I feel the trend would be going towards it. Since Sec schools have prom/graduation nights now when in the past it was just the JCs which have it. So since JCs started with orientation camps (copied from the U) and then Sec schools copy them, would Primary schools copy that as well?? Something we can think about.
