Lunch with folks from medical side in M*D

Friday, had lunch with folks from the medical side in M*D. Kinda fun to eat with them. Total of 8 of us walked over to the hawker centre to eat. Jo Jie, Belynda, Sin Yun Jie and 4 others whom i can't really remember the names because i dun really talk to them often. Had lunch of chicken katsu don at the hawker. Its pretty good but the price isn't really suited for a poor intern like myself. Chatted with them over lunch before returning back to work.

Had to work a little OT today cause it was +4 and needed to clear as many things as i could. Otherwise monday i will definitely work OT. Did the bank reconcilation statement or parts of it so that it would make it easier for me to tie the statements. After work, went with SY to Bugis. We decided to walk or rather, she decided to walk and i followed. Wanted to see how long and far it was to walk from Concourse to Bugis. Quite a short distance. Along the way, we met erm... one of the 4 i ate with earlier. She was with her mom, daughter and sister. Whole family of sorts at the bus stop waiting for 980 as they wanted to go to Bugis as well. So SY told them we were walking to bugis so they decided to walk with us as well. I was kinda shocked since there was a toddler, a bag of baby stuff and they decided to walk with us. So along the way, i was "scolding" SY for getting them to walk with us. Think she got sian from hearing me "nag" at her along the way. So sorry about it SY. We all parted at bugis and i went shopping on my own.

Now here's something interesting that would link Fri and Sat's events. I went to world of sports to take a look at stuff. Since i saw that for members, some items were 40% off which was a really good deal. So i brought a 32.90 head "dry fit" T for 19.75 which is a good deal. I paid with my nets and happily walked off with my purchase. Then i went to kino to look at the new trades of marvel and dc comics. Saw a few interesting ones but decided not to spend my money to buy them. Then i went to Macs to try their new Rice burgers. Its okay but not really fantastic enough to spend so much for it. After buying the meal, i took a bus back to church.

Had choir practise and chose some hymns to sing for the missionary conference in Feb. After choir, i decided not to stay for overnight as i was pretty tired and drained. So got mr kool to be my driver "Ahmed" for the day. Ms chan even wanted to be "Fatimah" so she can drive home. lol. Kool hasn't lost his skill in handling my car. So it was a pretty good ride. Weather was wet and rainy so he took greater care in driving. After dropping PJ, we switched and i took over as driver to drop him off before driving home.

Tennis in the Rain.
Sat morning was the arranged tennis session. Arranged to pick Ms Y and Ivan up from their home at 830am. Ivan playing tennis while i give Ms Y a ride to YCK for her driving. I woke up at 8am...... After waking up at 630am setting my alarm to 730am. I ended up waking at 8am. So rushed a little in the morning to leave at 813am. Thankfully, i packed my tennis stuff already so it was quite ok. Managed to get to Yong residence at 833am. 20mins drive with me almost missing the exit from TPE. Then drove Ms Y to YCK before going to Koo residence to pick mr Kool up. Then we made our way to SP. We got there at 1015am and started to play despite the drizzle. The drizzle stopped and we continued playing. We played till 12 when the drizzle which had started earlier got heavier and heavier. So we decided to quit and go for lunch. Z-man was called down by us and he just got to SP at 12 when we decided to stop. After lunch, the sun was out and we continued playing before the rain came once again. So we stopped and decided to change up before going home.

I drove Kool and Ivan to Yishun. I wanted to buy comics and when i selected what i wanted, i realised my ATM card was missing..... Impressive right? Then i called WoS in bugis and realised my card was left there...... So i had to make plans to go there to collect my card. Ivan followed me home and then followed me to Bugis. I went home to bath and we took a bus down. I collected the ATM card and then left for the bus stop. Ivan took mrt from Bugis back to tampines.

Reaching home, i ate a little before going for the west side prayer meeting. I parked and was walking to Aunt Florence's home when i slipped and fell. Thank God that i did not fall flat on my back, I was able to do reverse push ups with my palms. Palms got dirtied and i went to wash it at the home. After prayer meeting, came back home and decided to blog. So bringing us to where we are now.

I do want to thank God for the day He has given me. It is good and all things went good by His grace. Praise God and Thank Him.
