Wedding and Outing

Today, woke up pretty early to prepare for the wedding. Actually, i prepared more for the outing than the wedding. Cos the wedding clothes i already prepared the night before and most of the necessary already. So i took my breakfast and then went to bathe and change.

Interesting experience as i drove to Life Church. Kool called me while i was at the traffic junction and asked if that was me. Basically he was in a comfort cab 3 cars behind me. Later as i drove along thomson road, glo smsed to tell me she was also in a comfort cab 2 cars behind me. That was pretty interesting to meet folks along the road. God does wonderous things for us. Got to life church at 10am in time for the warm up. Warmed up till 1040 before we got seated in the sanctuary. We had a good wedding service and then fellowship during the reception. The food was pretty good and the dessert was wonderful. Think it was really suited for the warm weather. We then discussed what logistics issues we needed to do for the outing.

We started with prayer for key upcoming events followed by going to Calvary Pandan bookroom to see the Christian books there. We decided not to go to life bookroom since we could easily go there anytime. Folks who went to the bookroom were Uncle Joseph, Aunty Sharon, Mary, YY, Fiona, Albert, Zhuhui, Dragon Fist, Jullian, Ethan and myself. 11 of us. Later, mary and dragon fist left earlier as they had something on. Ethan and i then drove to Jurong East to pick up Edelweiss and Jonah. They got the cake for Seok Imm for the surprise birthday party for her. While the rest were also going to leave to Kent Ridge for a walk. My car managed to be the first to reach followed by Albert with ZH and Jullian. Uncle Joseph with Sharon then came with YY, Seok Imm and Fiona. So we replaced 2 with 3 and had 12 for the walk. We took a very nice walk around the broadwalk and then had some fellowship around the look out point area. We then split up with albert and ethan going off. So the 10 of us then went to Republic yacht club for dinner. Jos Z joined us after that so the 11 of us were having a good time of fellowship. We then sprung the surprise party on Seok Imm there.

We then took a post dinner and cake walk to the pier. It was really an enjoyable experience. We also took the time to look at the stars and see the wonders that the Lord had made for us to view in the night. Its really beautiful. We then experienced the waves on the "pier" section. Cos it followed the waves when they moved. We then drove to Clementi mrt and dropped folks off to take the mrt home. Managed to get home in super quick timing (at 917pm). Realised i should have sent the girls back home while i was driving back home. And i confirmed it when i reached home and they were still at Commonwealth MRT. But now, everyone is back home already. Gave calls and smses to check that they got back home.

I like to thank God for the wonderful time we had today. It was a real blessing to be out and spend time with God's people. It was an especially good time of fellowship.
