New Client starts today

Will be working with a new client today and it should be pretty interesting to work. First time with a "grey" job and i pray that working on this client would not hinder my service for the Lord.

Just some updates since wednesday. Thursday was my first PGL session and it was quite fun to spend the day reviewing and sharing our experiences on the job. After that, went home to get much needed rest. Couldn't meet Jonah as a result.

Friday was a day i spent doing the yellow ribbon project. Was assigned to HR to do the admin work and later on to sell the ribbons. I signed up to sell the ribbons cos i thought it would have been an interesting experience. Wasn't able to sell a lot of ribbons and got quite sad when those whom i asked to donate, skipped me and donated to my friend. I think ladies have a slightly easier time to sell the ribbons. After selling the ribbons, i went for a dinner with my PGL group and our former PGL leader. It was really interesting to have the time to eat with them. Left around 830pm to go to church for Choir practise and also stay back for overnight. Stayed till about 12MN before i left for home. Body was really tired by then.

Saturday slept longer than i would have. Woke up at 9am which is very late compared to my normal time. Rested a while at home before i left for JSM to have young adult prayer and fellowship. Thank God for the blessed time of fellowship we had. After the prayer, we left to join the various locations for regional family worship. Joined the Toa Payoh family worship and it was an interesting experience with a different group. Also collected my new specs before i joined the family worship and also brought a lot of things for breakfast for the next week.

Sunday was a time where i seriously considered whether to go for 1st service or not. Really liked to have some more rest but thank God that His spirit convicted me and prompted me to go. It was really apt to have the message by Rev Yong on the one thing have i desired. For the one thing i must desire is God. After 1st service, we had Bible study with Joseph and he gave us a message that was much needed. Especially for myself to be very sensitive to the Holy Spirit and to keep myself always broken before the Lord that He can use me. May God always break me to keep me effective in His service. Attended 2nd service and had a message by Pastor on the Christian race.

After service, stayed back for lunch and then tracting. Thank God for the reminder of why we serve Him and also our former state before we were saved. After tracting, we had a nice time of fellowship over some dessert and then left for home. Drove back to church and then sent Mary and Rach to their grandfather's home. Thanks for the Soursop cake, my sisters. After dropping them off, i drove to my own grandfather's home. After dinner, returned home to shower and to rest before going to Andy's home for a time of Bible study. Thank God that i was able to have the session with Ioannes and Cyndi as well. It was really a blessed time with the Lord. Also spoke to a few people on my way home. Thank God for His guidance throughout the week.
