Send Off for Ms GW to BJU (9/01)

A number of us when to the airport to send ms GW off. Met ML and picked up ms chan on my way east. Picking up ms chang proved to be a daunting task since a number of factors played a part in ensuring that we missed her. 1) she was not at the appointed place to meet. 2) there were 3 kopitiams at the place to meet (2 on one side of the road and another on the opposite side) 3) i was on the opposite side of the road where there was a kopitiam and a minimart 4) moving up one bus stop brought me further away from her 5) made 2 rounds just to pick her up (total of 3 U-turns)

Once at the airport, i went to feed my cashcard my "food" before going to find ms GW. Found her and other youths who also turned up. There were very few who went to see her off this time. Only her mom and 2 brothers (think her dad flew off already), mr kong, mr z, rev yong, ivan (new comer), ms chan, ml, pj, glo and myself went. Compared to before, the number has reduced quite dramatically. We saw her off and wished her good journey back to US. Her flight is a long flight and we pray she reaches the US safely.

After seeing her off, the youths decided to go eat supper. An idea i'm not really keen off but went anyway. Ate the changi village hawker centre and then at 1230, we left to make our ways back. I gave glo, pj and ml a lift back. The ride was super long...... got home really late. had to go by PIE to drop glo off, then send pj and ml (whom i seriously wanted to drop them off at my place and take a cab back cos i was already stoning and dead in the brain already) to their home. After that got home and slept with the sound of falling rain drops. The rain/drizzle had started earlier as i was sending folks home.
